Postprism’s social media scheduling API lets your code create, schedule, update and delete posts for LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, Bluesky and Pinterest with one API key. Send a version per network, upload images and video, read analytics, and see every post on your Postprism calendar.
Four steps from a new API key to a post that publishes on time. The quick start has the full requests.
Connect LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, Bluesky and Pinterest on the Platforms page in Postprism. Those are the accounts your code can post to.
Open Developer in Postprism and choose Generate API key. Name it after the integration, copy it once, and send it as a Bearer token on every request.
POST to /posts with the networks, a version for each in platform_content and a scheduled_at time. Leave the time out to save a draft for review.
The post appears on your Postprism calendar and publishes on time. Read it back to see its status, or list posts by status to find anything that needs attention.
Ten endpoints for posts, media, analytics, connected platforms and workspaces, with the same JSON envelope on every response.
Create drafts or scheduled posts, list them newest first with a status filter, read one, change its text, networks, media or time, or delete it.
Up to 100 posts per page
platform_content holds the text and hashtags for each network, so one request sends a short X post and a long LinkedIn post together.
Set LinkedIn visibility, TikTok privacy, a YouTube title, privacy, playlist and thumbnail, or a Pinterest board and link, in the same request.
Upload JPEG, PNG, GIF or WebP images and MP4 or MOV video once, then attach the returned link to as many posts as you like.
Images 10 MB, video 100 MB, 10 files per post
Get views, likes, comments and shares for each published post and network, filtered by post or by platform.
Pass a workspace ID to act on any workspace you belong to, so one integration can run every client’s calendar. Your role applies, and Viewers can read but not change posts.
API keys on Freelancer and Agency
Two requests from your code. Postprism keeps the post on your calendar and publishes it to each network at its time.
Endpoints, plans, media sizes and request limits, as published in the API docs.
Teams that want posts to go out from their own systems, with a calendar people can still review.
Post release notes, launches and blog articles from your own app or CI job, with a version written for each network.
Turn an RSS item, a form entry or a spreadsheet row into a draft in an n8n workflow, and let a person schedule it.
Run every client’s calendar from one integration by passing each client’s workspace, and keep client Viewers read-only.
The Postprism MCP server gives Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other assistants the same posts, media and analytics as the API, without writing code.
Each of the 11 MCP tools maps to an API endpoint, so limits and validation are the same.
Assistants sign in with your Postprism account, so the MCP server works on every plan, including the trial.
Setup steps and prompts for Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini CLI and n8n.
Ask for drafts and the assistant’s posts wait on your calendar until you schedule them.
List everything scheduled for next week across my client workspaces and move the Acme LinkedIn post to Thursday at 10 AM.
