Bluesky scheduler

Schedule Bluesky posts ahead of time

Postprism is a Bluesky scheduler that publishes your posts at the time you set, even when you’re offline. Write a version of up to 300 characters with clickable links, mentions and hashtags, connect with an app password, and plan Bluesky on one calendar beside X, LinkedIn and three other networks.

How to schedule Bluesky posts

Three steps from draft to published, with an app password instead of your main Bluesky password.

  1. 01
    Connect with an app password

Create an app password in your Bluesky settings, name it Postprism, then enter your handle and that password on the Platforms page. You can revoke it in Bluesky at any time.

  2. 02
Write and tailor the Bluesky version

Write the post once, then shape its Bluesky version within 300 characters. Links, @mentions and #hashtags you type become clickable, and Enhance with AI can draft the short version when you want help.

  3. 03
Schedule it and let it publish

Pick the date, time and time zone, and schedule. Postprism publishes on time even when you are offline, and you can reschedule it from the calendar until it goes out.

What you can publish to Bluesky

Postprism posts through the AT Protocol, the same way Bluesky’s own app does, so your post looks like one you wrote by hand.

Text posts

Up to 300 characters, with your line breaks kept. The composer counts the Bluesky version as you write.

300 characters

Links

Paste a URL into the text and Postprism publishes it as a clickable link, so readers can open your article or product page.

Clickable in the post

Mentions and hashtags

Type @handles and #hashtags in the text. Postprism looks up each handle when it publishes, so mentions notify the people you tag and hashtags lead to their feeds.

Settings you control on each Bluesky post

The same options are in the composer, the REST API and the MCP server, so a post scheduled by your AI assistant can be set up exactly like one you wrote.

Bluesky versionUp to 300 characters

Edit the Bluesky text apart from your other networks, with its own character count. Reset to base brings back the original draft.

Links, mentions and hashtags

Write them straight into the text. Postprism makes each one clickable when the post publishes.

AccountOne Bluesky account per workspace

Each workspace connects its own Bluesky handle, so every brand or client posts from the right account.

Date, time and time zone

Pick the exact time the post should go out. Open it on the calendar to reschedule if plans change.

Building with the API? Every field, with an example request, is in the Bluesky platform guide.

From one draft to Bluesky and your other feeds

One post becomes a short Bluesky version beside the versions for your other networks. The calendar holds it until its time, then Postprism publishes to Bluesky and the rest together.

Bluesky next to X, LinkedIn and your other networks

Post the same update to Bluesky, X and LinkedIn, each in its own words, without switching apps or logins.

One post, every short-form feed

Select Bluesky, X and LinkedIn on the same post. Each gets its own version and goes out at the time you scheduled.

Sign in safely

Postprism uses an app password you create for it, not your main Bluesky password. Revoke it in Bluesky whenever you like.

A workspace per brand or client

Keep each brand in its own workspace with its own Bluesky account, calendar and brand voice. Solo includes 1 workspace, Freelancer 3 and Agency 10.

Roles for your team

Invite teammates as Owner, Admin, Editor or Viewer. Freelancer includes 3 team members and Agency 10.

Approval before publishing

On Freelancer and Agency, Editors submit posts for review and an Owner or Admin approves them or asks for changes before they are scheduled.

One calendar for every network

See Bluesky posts beside LinkedIn, X and the rest in month, week and day views, and reschedule any post from its dialog.

Optional AI that writes for Bluesky

You write the post. When you want help, AI drafts the Bluesky version in your brand voice, and you edit it before anything is scheduled.

A short version from a long draft

Enhance with AI rewrites your base post for each network you selected, so a LinkedIn post becomes a tight Bluesky version under 300 characters.

Your brand voice

Set your tone and values once on the Brand page. AI adaptations follow them on Bluesky and every other network.

Always your call

AI suggestions land in the editor. Review and edit each version, or skip AI and write every word yourself.

Included in every plan

150 AI adaptations a month on Solo, 500 on Freelancer and 2,000 on Agency.

Let your AI assistant schedule Bluesky posts

Postprism runs an MCP server, so Claude, Cursor, Gemini CLI and other MCP clients can draft and schedule Bluesky posts in your workspace. Every post lands on your calendar.

Sign in, no code

Add the Postprism MCP server to your assistant and sign in with your Postprism account. It works on every plan, including the free trial.

The right network

Bluesky has the platform key bluesky, so the assistant posts exactly where you asked, next to X, LinkedIn or any other network.

Drafts or scheduled, your choice

Without a date, create_post saves a draft for you to review. With scheduled_at, the post is scheduled and publishes automatically.

REST API for automations

n8n and your own scripts use the REST API with an API key, on the Freelancer and Agency plans.

You ask

Write five Bluesky posts under 300 characters from our launch notes, one a day from Monday at 10 AM, and schedule them.

Postprism tools it uses
  • list_platformsThe social accounts connected to a workspace.
  • create_postCreate a post from base content, target platforms and optional per-platform versions. Without a date it is saved as a draft; with scheduled_at it is scheduled.
  • list_postsList posts in a workspace, filtered by status (draft, scheduled, published).
