Start from your largest original
Scaling down from a big source stays sharp; scaling up softens. Upload the full-resolution file rather than a re-exported or screenshotted copy.
Center your subject before uploading
The crop fills the frame from the middle outward and trims the edges. Place logos, headlines, or faces in the center of the original so they survive the resize.
Check the banner safe zone
