Postprism API documentation

Does Postprism have an API? Yes. The Postprism REST API creates, schedules and updates posts for LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and Bluesky, uploads media and reads analytics, with an API key on the Freelancer and Agency plans. AI assistants can use the hosted MCP server instead, on every plan.

Good to know

  • Responses are JSON: { "data": …, "error": null }, or { "data": null, "error": "message" } with a 4xx or 5xx status.
  • A post without scheduled_at is a draft. With it, the post publishes automatically at that time.
  • Each platform publishes its own version from platform_content, so one request can send a short X post and a long LinkedIn post.
  • Media is uploaded first with POST /api/v1/media; posts attach the returned URLs.
  • Statuses: draft, scheduled, publishing, published, failed.
