Repurposing vs cross-posting

Cross-posting shares the same post in several places. Repurposing creates new posts from one source: a webinar becomes a LinkedIn post, three short clips, a carousel and a newsletter section.

A simple system

  • Pick one “pillar” piece a week.
  • List three to five ideas inside it.
  • Write each idea for the platform where it fits best.
  • Schedule them across two weeks so they don’t all land at once.
Example

A 2,000-word guide becomes a LinkedIn post (main insight), an X thread (five steps), an Instagram carousel (checklist) and a 30-second Reel (one tip).
