The best LinkedIn scheduler in 2026 is Postprism, because it publishes text, image and video posts to your personal profile and your Company Pages from one calendar, lets you choose who sees each profile post, and writes a LinkedIn version of every post alongside tailored versions for 5 other networks, with unlimited posts from $19 a month. Taplio, AuthoredUp and Supergrow suit LinkedIn-only creators.
LinkedIn has become the network where B2B buyers, founders and recruiters actually read. That makes posting consistently worth more than on most networks, and it makes the choice of scheduler more personal: a ghostwriter for three founders, a marketing team running a Company Page, and a consultant building a personal brand need different things. This guide ranks ten LinkedIn schedulers on the things that matter for each, using vendor pricing and help pages checked in October 2026.
Key findings
- LinkedIn's own scheduler works, within limits. LinkedIn lets you schedule posts between 10 minutes and 3 months ahead on desktop and mobile, one post at a time, and events and jobs cannot be scheduled.
- You have 3,000 characters, but the first lines do the work. LinkedIn posts allow up to 3,000 characters, and long posts show only their opening lines before "more", so the hook decides whether anyone reads the rest.
- Video has room. LinkedIn accepts video files from 75 KB to 5 GB and 3 seconds to 15 minutes when uploaded from desktop, in aspect ratios from 1:2.4 to 2.4:1.
- LinkedIn-only tools cost more than you might expect. Taplio starts at $39 a month and Supergrow at $39 a month for one account, while Postprism covers LinkedIn and 5 other networks from $19.
- Per-seat suites are the most expensive route. Sprout Social's Essentials plan is $79 per seat a month billed annually, and Hootsuite starts at $99 a month.
- Personal profiles and Company Pages are different jobs. Profile posts can be public or for connections only; Page posts are always public. A good scheduler handles both from one place.

What a LinkedIn scheduler has to get right
A LinkedIn scheduler holds your finished post and publishes it to your profile or Company Page at the time you choose. The social media scheduler glossary entry has the general definition. On LinkedIn, a few rules decide whether scheduled posts look and perform like posts you wrote in the app.
| What | LinkedIn's rule | What a good scheduler does |
|---|---|---|
| Post text | Up to 3,000 characters | Counts as you type and flags a post that runs over |
| Feed preview | Long posts show their opening lines, then "more" | Lets the LinkedIn version open with its own hook, separate from other networks |
| Images | 1.91:1 at 1200 × 627 px recommended | Converts formats LinkedIn may reject and keeps your crop |
| Video | 75 KB to 5 GB, 3 seconds to 15 minutes, 1:2.4 to 2.4:1 | Uploads the file and waits for LinkedIn to process it before publishing |
| Who can see it | Anyone or connections only, per profile post | Lets you choose visibility per post |
| Native scheduling window | 10 minutes to 3 months ahead | Schedules any future date, in the time zone you choose |

Native LinkedIn scheduling vs a LinkedIn scheduler
LinkedIn's own scheduler is free and fine for occasional posting. The gap shows up when posting becomes a routine, when more than one person is involved, or when LinkedIn is one network of several.
| Need | LinkedIn's built-in scheduler | Postprism |
|---|---|---|
| Plan a month or a quarter | Up to 3 months, one post at a time | Any future date, with a month view and CSV upload of up to 200 posts per file |
| Profile and Company Page together | From each one's own composer | Both from one post |
| See everything you have scheduled | A list per profile or Page | One calendar across profiles, Pages and 5 other networks |
| Someone else drafts, you approve | No approval step | Owner or Admin approval on Freelancer and Agency |
| Same idea on X, Bluesky or TikTok | Not available | A version per network from the same post |
| Help writing | None in the scheduler | Optional AI drafts in your brand identity |
| Cost | Free | From $19 a month for 6 networks |
If you post a few times a week to one profile and nowhere else, stay native. If any row on the right matters to you, a scheduler pays for itself in saved time within the first month.
Worked example: one week of LinkedIn posts for a founder and a Page
Northwind is a six-person bookkeeping software company. Its founder posts on her profile three times a week and the company Page posts twice. Here is a week planned in Postprism in one 45-minute sitting, with each post written once and given its own version per destination.
| Day | Where | Post | Media |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monday | Founder profile, visible to Anyone | A short story: "We lost our biggest customer in month three. Here is the one onboarding change that stopped it happening again." Three short paragraphs and a question. | None |
| Tuesday | Company Page | A product update written in the company voice, with the link in the post and one clear benefit in the first line. | One screenshot, 1200 × 627 |
| Wednesday | Founder profile | An opinion on month-end close, with a concrete number from their own customer base. | None |
| Thursday | Company Page and founder profile | A 60-second customer video. The Page version introduces the customer; the founder version tells why the story mattered to her. | MP4 video |
| Friday | Founder profile, visible to Connections | A personal reflection on the week, written for the people who know her. | One photo |
The Monday and Wednesday posts also get a short X version and a Bluesky post from the same post. Total: seven LinkedIn and four other posts, reviewed together on the calendar and scheduled in one step. The team's marketing lead drafts, and the founder approves from the approval queue, so nothing goes out in her name without her sign-off.
What to test in a LinkedIn scheduler trial
- Connect a profile and a Page. Confirm both appear and that you can choose between them per post.
- Schedule a long post. Write 1,500 characters with line breaks and check the published post keeps its spacing.
- Schedule an image post. Use a 1200 × 627 image and check it shows full width, not as a small thumbnail.
- Schedule a video. Upload a short MP4 and confirm it publishes after LinkedIn finishes processing it.
- Check visibility. Post one profile update to Connections only and confirm it is not public.
- Try the approval flow. Have a teammate submit a post and approve or request changes.
- Price your real setup. Count profiles, Pages, other networks and seats, and compare the bill after the trial.
How we ranked these LinkedIn schedulers
Every tool here can put a post on LinkedIn at a set time. We ranked them on what separates a scheduler you keep using from one you cancel after a month.
- Profiles and Pages. Can you post to your personal profile and to Company Pages from the same place?
- Writing help. Does the tool help you write a LinkedIn post that sounds like LinkedIn, not a tweet stretched out?
- Formats. Text, images and video, delivered the way LinkedIn shows them in the feed.
- Your other networks. Most LinkedIn users also post to X, Instagram or Threads. Does the tool handle the rest of your week?
- Team workflow and price. Approvals for ghostwriters and agencies, and whether cost scales with accounts, seats or posts.
Facts and prices come from each vendor's own pricing and help pages in October 2026 and are linked inline. Where a page did not state something, we left it out.
1. Postprism: best overall LinkedIn scheduler
What it is. Postprism is a social media scheduler that publishes to 6 networks (LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, Bluesky and Pinterest) from one content calendar. On LinkedIn, it publishes text posts, single-image posts and video posts to your personal profile and to every Company Page you administer.
How it handles LinkedIn. Sign in with LinkedIn to connect your profile, and connect Company Pages through LinkedIn's Page sign-in. In the composer, write the post once, choose your profile, one or more Pages, and any other networks. The LinkedIn version has its own text, so its first lines can carry a hook written for LinkedIn while X gets a short version. For profile posts, choose whether Anyone or only your Connections can see it; Page posts are public. Attach an image (Postprism converts stored WebP images to JPEG or PNG before upload) or an MP4 video from 75 KB to 200 MB, which Postprism uploads to LinkedIn and publishes once LinkedIn has processed it. Pick a date, time and time zone, and the post goes out even when you are offline. The full walkthrough is on the LinkedIn scheduler page.
Standout features.
- A LinkedIn version written for LinkedIn. Press Enhance with AI and one request returns a version for every selected network, following LinkedIn-specific style guidelines for the LinkedIn version: a story-led post with short paragraphs and a question, rather than a stretched tweet. You edit before anything is scheduled. See AI content adaptation.
- Your brand identity in every draft. The AI writes from your brand name, industry, default tone (such as Professional, Authoritative or Educational), values, target audience and key messages. See brand voice AI.
- Profile and Pages from one post. A founder's profile and the company Page can get the same announcement on the same schedule, from one post.
- Calendar and kanban. Month, week and day views with a platform filter, plus a kanban board of Drafts, Scheduled and Published. "Generate content plan" drafts a 4-week plan to fill gaps. See the content calendar.
- Templates. 24 content templates in 6 categories in the composer, for the posts you write every month: announcements, lessons, hiring and more. See content templates.
- Approvals for ghostwriters and agencies. On Freelancer and Agency, Editors submit posts and an Owner or Admin approves them or requests changes with a note, and Editors track their posts in "My submissions". See the approval workflow. Recruitment teams use the same setup for open roles; see Postprism for recruiters.
- Company Page analytics. Impressions, reach, clicks, engagement rate and top posts for LinkedIn Pages, next to X, TikTok and YouTube. See analytics.
- Bulk and AI assistants. Upload a CSV of up to 200 rows to schedule a quarter of posts at once (see bulk scheduling), or let Claude or ChatGPT draft and schedule through Postprism's MCP server, included on every plan.
Who it is for. Founders, consultants, B2B marketers, ghostwriters and agencies who post to LinkedIn alongside at least one other network, or who manage a profile and a Page together. Pricing: Solo is $19 a month ($14 billed annually) with all 6 networks, unlimited posts and 150 AI adaptations; Freelancer is $49 ($36 annually) with 3 workspaces, 3 team members and approvals; Agency is $99 ($75 annually) with 10 workspaces and 10 members. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial.

2. Taplio: best for LinkedIn personal-brand growth
What it is. A LinkedIn-only tool for creators and founders, combining AI writing, scheduling and growth features.
Standout features. Taplio's pricing page lists an AI post generator, an AI carousel generator, image generation and smart replies, with 250 AI credits on lower plans and unlimited credits on Pro. The 7-day trial includes full Pro access, and there is a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Limits to know. It is LinkedIn only, so your other networks need another tool. The pricing page does not describe Company Page posting, so test it in the trial if you run a Page.
Pricing (checked October 2026). Starter $39 a month, Growth $69 and Pro $199. Lower figures shown on the page appear to be annual prices.
Who it is for. Solo creators and founders whose main goal is growing a personal audience on LinkedIn and who want AI built for LinkedIn alone.
3. AuthoredUp: best for formatting and hooks
What it is. A LinkedIn writing tool, delivered as a browser extension, with formatting, a hooks library and scheduling.
Standout features. According to AuthoredUp's pricing page, scheduling is included and runs through the browser extension, Company Pages are unlimited at no extra charge, and there is a hooks library and an analytics API.
Limits to know. LinkedIn only. The Business plan requires three or more profiles.
Pricing (checked October 2026). Individual is $19.95 a month, or $199.50 a year. Business is $14.95 per profile a month for three or more profiles, and teams of ten or more contact sales. There is a free trial.
Who it is for. Writers who draft long LinkedIn posts and want formatting previews and proven hook structures while they write.
4. Supergrow: best for LinkedIn-only teams with approvals
What it is. A LinkedIn-only content tool that publishes through LinkedIn's official API.
Standout features. Supergrow's pricing page lists scheduling with a calendar and kanban, auto first comment, a carousel maker, repurposing, an MCP connection, and approval workflows on the Teams plan.
Limits to know. LinkedIn only, and the jump from one account to the Teams plan is large.
Pricing (checked October 2026). Pro is $39 a month ($31 billed annually) for one account; Teams is $199 a month ($189 annually) for five accounts; Enterprise is custom. There is a 7-day trial.
Who it is for. Ghostwriting teams and B2B companies that only post on LinkedIn and need sign-off before posts go live.
5. Buffer: best free start for a profile and a Page
What it is. A simple multi-network scheduler priced per channel, with a free plan.
Standout features. Buffer's supported channels article says both LinkedIn personal profiles and Pages auto-publish, and its LinkedIn help article covers document posts. First comment scheduling is on paid plans.
Limits to know. The free plan allows 3 channels and 10 scheduled posts per channel. Every extra channel adds to the bill, and per-network writing is manual.
Pricing (checked October 2026). Free, then Essentials at $5 per channel a month and Team at $10 per channel with unlimited users and approvals, with a 14-day trial. See our Buffer alternative page.
Who it is for. Individuals who want a free way to schedule a profile and a Page, and maybe one more network.
6. Metricool: best for LinkedIn plus analytics on a budget
What it is. A planner and analytics tool priced by number of brands.
Standout features. Metricool's LinkedIn guide covers PDF, PPT and DOC documents, and publishing images as a PDF carousel. Competitor tracking and analytics sit next to the planner.
Limits to know. LinkedIn needs a paid plan; the free plan excludes LinkedIn and X, and X is a $10 monthly add-on per account.
Pricing (checked October 2026). Starter from $25 a month ($20 billed annually) for up to 5 brands. See our Metricool alternative comparison.
Who it is for. Freelancers and small agencies who want LinkedIn analytics and competitor benchmarks in the same tool as the calendar.
7. Vista Social: best for agencies that want employee advocacy
What it is. An all-in-one social tool with publishing, inbox, reporting and add-ons, priced by profile bundle.
Standout features. Vista Social's pricing page lists an employee advocacy add-on at $199 a month for 25 employees, useful when a company wants staff to reshare Page posts on their own profiles, and a listening add-on at $75 a month.
Limits to know. Small user counts per plan, and X is an extra $29 a month on every plan.
Pricing (checked October 2026). Professional $99 a month (15 profiles), Advanced $199 (30 profiles) and Scale $449 (70 profiles), with a 14-day trial. See our Vista Social alternative page.
Who it is for. Agencies and mid-size companies that want LinkedIn publishing plus employee advocacy and an inbox in one contract.
8. Sprout Social: best for enterprise teams
What it is. A premium suite with publishing, a shared inbox, listening and reporting, priced per seat.
Standout features. Sprout supports personal LinkedIn profiles, which count toward the plan's profile limit, according to its help centre, alongside Pages, the inbox and the reporting large teams rely on.
Limits to know. Every seat is paid and Essentials covers 5 profiles, so it is an expensive way to schedule LinkedIn alone.
Pricing (checked October 2026). Essentials $79 per seat a month billed annually or $99 monthly, with higher plans listed at $199, $299 and $399. There is a 30-day trial. See our Sprout Social alternative page.
Who it is for. Large in-house teams where LinkedIn publishing is one part of social care, listening and executive reporting.
9. Hootsuite: best for large teams running many Pages
What it is. A long-established social media suite for teams.
Standout features. Hootsuite's LinkedIn page covers Pages and Showcase Pages, and the Standard plan includes recommended times to post.
Limits to know. No free plan, and Standard is capped at 10 social accounts. Confirm personal profile posting in the trial if you need it.
Pricing (checked October 2026). Standard from $99 a month, Professional from $199 and Advanced up to $399, billed annually, with a 14-day trial. See our Hootsuite alternative page.
Who it is for. Enterprises with several Pages and Showcase Pages that want publishing inside a wider suite.
10. LinkedIn's built-in scheduler: best free native option
What it is. The clock icon in LinkedIn's own post composer.
Standout features. Free, on desktop and mobile, with scheduling between 10 minutes and 3 months ahead.
Limits to know. One post at a time, for one profile or Page at a time, with no calendar across accounts, no approval step and nothing for your other networks. Events and jobs cannot be scheduled.
Who it is for. Individuals who post to LinkedIn a few times a week and nowhere else.

LinkedIn scheduler pricing compared
Here is what a realistic setup costs: one personal profile, one Company Page and two other networks (say X and TikTok), for one person. Prices are from each vendor's page in October 2026.
| Tool | Profile + Page + 2 networks, 1 user | Covers the other networks? | Free plan or trial |
|---|---|---|---|
| Postprism | $19/month | Yes, all 6 networks included | 7-day free trial |
| Taplio | $39/month | No, add another tool | 7-day trial |
| AuthoredUp | $19.95/month | No, add another tool | Free trial |
| Supergrow | $39/month | No, add another tool | 7-day trial |
| Buffer | $20/month on Essentials | Yes, per channel | Free for 3 channels |
| Metricool | $25/month, plus $10 for X | Yes | Free plan without LinkedIn |
| Vista Social | $99/month, plus $29 for X | Yes | 14-day trial |
| Sprout Social | $79/month billed annually | Yes | 30-day trial |
| Hootsuite | From $99/month | Yes | 14-day trial |
The LinkedIn-only tools are good at LinkedIn, but most people who post on LinkedIn also post somewhere else, and two subscriptions quickly cost more than one tool that covers both. See our full social media scheduling tools pricing breakdown.
How to choose a LinkedIn scheduler
If you are a founder or consultant building a personal brand
You need a tool that helps you write in your own voice, keeps a steady rhythm and does not cost much. If LinkedIn is your only network, Taplio and AuthoredUp are built for exactly that. If you also post to X, Bluesky or TikTok, Postprism gives each network its own version of the same idea for $19 a month. Our LinkedIn content strategy guide and LinkedIn post formula cover the writing side.
If you run a Company Page
Look for Page support, analytics on Page posts and the option to post the same news to the founder's profile. Postprism handles profiles and Pages from one post and shows Page analytics next to your other networks. For growth tactics, see how to grow LinkedIn followers.
If you ghostwrite for several executives
You need separate spaces per client and sign-off before posts go out. Postprism Freelancer gives you 3 client workspaces with Owner or Admin approval for $49 a month, and Agency 10 for $99. Supergrow's Teams plan is the LinkedIn-only alternative.
If you are an enterprise team
Sprout Social and Hootsuite bundle LinkedIn publishing with inbox, listening and governance. Vista Social adds employee advocacy. Expect per-seat or per-bundle pricing.
If you only post occasionally
LinkedIn's own scheduler is free for up to 3 months ahead. Buffer's free plan adds a calendar for up to 3 channels.
How to schedule a month of LinkedIn posts
- Pick three themes. For example, lessons from your work, behind the scenes, and opinions on your industry. Themes stop you staring at a blank composer.
- Choose a rhythm you can keep. Two or three posts a week, on the same days. Our best time to post on LinkedIn guide has starting points, but your own analytics win after a month.
- Write hooks first. Draft the first two lines of every post before writing any bodies. If a hook does not make you want to tap "more", the post will not either.
- Write the bodies in one sitting. Short paragraphs, one idea per post, and a question at the end. Use the LinkedIn line break generator to keep spacing intact.
- Add one visual where it helps. A photo of real work, a simple chart or a short video. Our guide to LinkedIn image posts explains when images earn their place.
- Load the month. In Postprism, add posts in the composer or upload a CSV with content and times, choose profile or Page per post, and set visibility for profile posts.
- Decide what else goes elsewhere. A strong LinkedIn post often becomes a short X post or a Threads question. Let each network have its own version.
- Review the calendar. Filter to LinkedIn and check the mix: not three announcements in a row.
- Stay for the comments. Plan to reply in the first hour after each post goes live. LinkedIn conversations are where reach grows; see how the LinkedIn algorithm works.
- Measure monthly. Track impressions, comments and profile visits per post, using the LinkedIn metrics guide and the LinkedIn engagement calculator.
LinkedIn scheduling mistakes to avoid
- Pasting a tweet. A 200-character post with three hashtags looks out of place on LinkedIn. Write a LinkedIn version.
- Burying the point. Only the opening lines show before "more". Put the most interesting line first.
- Hashtag walls. A few relevant hashtags at most.
- Scheduling and vanishing. Posts that get replies from the author keep conversations going. Block time to respond.
- Posting the same text to profile and Page at once. Give the Page a company voice and the profile a personal angle.
- Wrong image sizes. Images 200 px wide or less show as a small thumbnail. Use 1200 × 627 or a vertical image designed for mobile.
- Forgetting time zones. If your audience is in another region, schedule for their morning, not yours. Postprism sets the time zone per post.
Our article on LinkedIn post mistakes goes into more detail, and Twitter vs LinkedIn explains why the same idea needs a different shape on each.
LinkedIn post ideas that work well scheduled
Some LinkedIn posts depend on timing to the minute, like reacting to news. Most do not, and those are the ones to batch and schedule. These formats hold up well when written ahead.
| Format | What it looks like | Why it works scheduled |
|---|---|---|
| Lesson post | A mistake, what it cost and what you changed | Evergreen and personal; it reads the same on Tuesday or Thursday |
| Framework | A short numbered method, three to five steps | Saved and shared, so it keeps reaching people for days |
| Behind the scenes | A photo of real work with a short story | Builds trust and does not date quickly |
| Customer story | A specific problem, what changed, and a number | Works on both the founder's profile and the Page, in two voices |
| Opinion | One clear view on how your industry works | Invites comments, which LinkedIn conversations grow from |
| Hiring or milestone | A role, an anniversary or a launch | Planned dates, so scheduling them avoids last-minute posting |
Keep reactive posts for live moments, and let the scheduler carry the steady base. A good rule is two planned posts and one live post a week. For more on formats, see LinkedIn carousels vs text posts and LinkedIn posts that get engagement.
The verdict
Postprism is the best LinkedIn scheduler for most people in 2026: it publishes text, image and video posts to your profile and Company Pages from one calendar, lets you set visibility per profile post, writes a LinkedIn version of every post with optional AI, and covers 5 other networks with unlimited posts from $19 a month. Taplio, AuthoredUp and Supergrow are strong if LinkedIn is the only network you use. Buffer and LinkedIn's own scheduler are fine free starts, and Sprout Social, Hootsuite and Vista Social fit enterprise teams. For the multi-network ranking, see the best social media scheduling tools.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best LinkedIn scheduler in 2026?
Postprism is the best LinkedIn scheduler for most people in 2026. It publishes text, image and video posts to personal profiles and Company Pages from one calendar, writes a LinkedIn-specific version of each post with optional AI, and covers 5 other networks with unlimited posts from $19 a month.
Can I schedule LinkedIn posts for free?
Yes. LinkedIn's own composer schedules posts from 10 minutes to 3 months ahead, for free, one post at a time. Buffer's free plan covers up to 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts each. Postprism offers a 7-day free trial rather than a free plan.
Can I schedule posts to a LinkedIn Company Page?
Yes. Postprism publishes to every Company Page you administer, as well as your personal profile, from the same post. Page posts are always public, while profile posts can be shown to Anyone or to Connections only.
Does scheduling LinkedIn posts reduce reach?
LinkedIn does not say it treats posts published through its official API differently from posts written in the app. Reach depends on how people respond, especially early comments, so plan to reply after each scheduled post goes live.
How many times a week should I post on LinkedIn?
Two to three times a week is a sustainable starting point for most individuals and Pages. Consistency matters more than volume; a scheduler makes it easy to keep the rhythm in busy weeks.
Can I schedule LinkedIn video posts?
Yes. Postprism uploads MP4 videos from 75 KB to 200 MB to LinkedIn, waits until LinkedIn has processed them, and then publishes the post. LinkedIn itself accepts videos from 3 seconds to 15 minutes when uploaded from desktop.
How much does a LinkedIn scheduler cost?
As checked in October 2026, Buffer is $5 per channel a month, Postprism $19 a month for 6 networks, AuthoredUp $19.95, Taplio and Supergrow $39, Sprout Social $79 per seat billed annually and Hootsuite from $99. LinkedIn's own scheduler is free.
Is there a LinkedIn scheduler for agencies and ghostwriters?
Yes. Postprism Freelancer and Agency give each client a separate workspace, team roles and an Owner or Admin approval step, at $49 a month for 3 workspaces and $99 for 10. Supergrow Teams is a LinkedIn-only option at $199 a month for 5 accounts.
