Best AI Caption Generators in 2026: 10 Tools Ranked

What is the best AI caption generator in 2026? Postprism is the best AI caption generator for anyone who posts to more than one network, because one click on Enhance with AI writes a separate caption for every network you selected (LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube), each with hashtags sized to that network, in your brand's tone, from $19 a month. If you only need a quick caption, Postprism's free Instagram caption generator and TikTok caption generator work in your browser with no signup.

The rest of the field splits into three groups. General writing assistants such as ChatGPT, Jasper and Copy.ai write anything, including captions, but leave you to paste the result into a scheduler. Schedulers with an AI assistant built in, such as Buffer, Later, Hootsuite and Flick, write inside the composer but usually one caption at a time. Design-first tools such as Canva and Predis.ai write captions as a side effect of making the visual. This guide ranks ten tools on how well they write captions that suit each network, using vendor pricing and documentation checked in October 2026, and shows how to get a good caption out of any of them.

The quick answer

Postprism's own setup guide for each audience lives on its audience pages: Postprism for content creators, for small businesses and for freelancers. This article is the wider market view.

Key findings

  • AI captioning is now the default, not the exception. HubSpot's State of Marketing report says 80% of marketers use AI for content creation, so the question is no longer whether to use an AI caption generator but which one fits your workflow.
  • Instagram cut hashtags to five. Instagram began enforcing a cap of five hashtags per post or Reel in December 2025, replacing the old allowance of 30, as Later and Social Media Today both reported. Any caption generator that still writes a 30-tag block is writing for a rule that no longer exists.
  • Most schedulers meter AI captions. Later's Starter plan includes 5 AI credits a month (one credit is one caption), Ocoya's Starter includes 300 AI credits, and Predis.ai sells 1,300 credits a month on its Core plan, all checked October 2026. Buffer is the exception, listing its AI Assistant with unlimited credits on every plan, including Free.
  • Writing tools cost more per seat than schedulers. Jasper Pro is $69 per seat a month ($59 billed yearly) and Copy.ai's Chat plan is $29 a month, and neither publishes your post. Postprism's Solo plan is $19 a month and includes 150 AI adaptations, each of which writes captions for every network you selected.
  • Character limits still decide whether a caption works. X allows 280 characters, LinkedIn 3,000, Instagram 2,200 and Threads 500. A generator that writes one long caption for every network forces you to cut it by hand.
  • Free generators are good enough for single posts. Template-based generators, including Postprism's free caption tools, give you a usable first line in seconds without an account. AI earns its cost when you need many captions, in a consistent tone, for several networks at once.

What changed for caption writing in 2026

Hashtags became a precision tool

For years the standard Instagram caption ended in a wall of 20 to 30 hashtags. Instagram's December 2025 change to a five-hashtag cap ended that habit. Later's guide describes it as a "platform-enforced limit, not a best practice recommendation". The practical effect on caption writing is that a caption now has to carry discovery on its own words: the topic, the product name and the location belong in the text, with a few precise tags as support. If you want help choosing those five, our free Instagram hashtag generator returns a focused set by topic, and our companion ranking of the best AI hashtag generators compares the paid options.

Captions became search text

Instagram, TikTok and YouTube all lean on the words in a caption or description to decide what a post is about. That changes what a good AI caption looks like. A clever line with no keywords is less useful than a plain sentence that names the thing in the video. The best caption generators now write a hook first and put the searchable description in the first two lines, where both people and search systems read it.

Every network wants a different caption

The average person now uses several social platforms a month, and each has its own length, tone and hashtag norms. A LinkedIn caption with a story and two professional hashtags reads as foreign on X, where the same idea needs one sharp sentence. This is the main reason AI caption generators that write a version per network have pulled ahead of tools that write one caption and leave you to edit it six times. Our guide to writing for multiple platforms covers the differences in more detail.

Brand tone moved from nice-to-have to expected

Early AI caption tools wrote in one cheerful voice for everyone. In 2026 almost every serious tool lets you set a tone or describe your brand, from Jasper's Brand Voices to Flick's Brand Hub and Postprism's Brand Identity. What separates them is how much setup they need and whether that information is applied automatically to every caption, or only when you remember to select it.

How we evaluated AI caption generators

We used each vendor's own pricing page and product pages, checked in October 2026. Where a vendor page did not state a capability, we say so rather than guess. We scored every tool on six questions:

  • Per-network output. Does one request give you a caption shaped for each network, or one caption you have to rework?
  • Brand tone. Can you tell the tool who you are, once, and have every caption reflect it?
  • Hashtags that fit the network. Does it suggest hashtags, and does it size them to the network's norms?
  • Length awareness. Does it respect character limits, or at least warn you when a caption runs over?
  • From caption to published post. Can you schedule the caption in the same place you wrote it, or does it end in copy and paste?
  • Cost per useful caption. How many captions does the plan really allow, once credits and per-seat pricing are counted?

The weighting favours people who post regularly. If you write two captions a month, a free tool will do. If you write fifty, the workflow matters more than the prose.

Free caption generators you can use right now

Before the paid tools, a shortcut. Postprism publishes a set of free writing tools that need no account and run entirely in your browser, so nothing you type is stored. They are template-based rather than AI: you enter a topic, pick a tone, and get a batch of captions built from proven hook and call-to-action patterns, with niche-specific lines blended in when your topic matches a known category. That makes them fast, predictable and free to use as often as you like.

When you outgrow single captions, the same ideas carry into Postprism itself, where AI writes the caption for every network at once and the calendar publishes it.

The 10 best AI caption generators, ranked

1. Postprism: best AI caption generator overall

What it is. Postprism is a social media scheduler that publishes to 6 networks (LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, Bluesky and Pinterest) from one content calendar, with an AI caption writer built into the composer.

How it writes captions. You write your idea once, in your own words, and select the networks you want. One click on Enhance with AI sends a single request and returns a version for every selected network. Each version follows that network's style: a longer, insight-led LinkedIn post with paragraph breaks and two to five professional hashtags; a short, punchy X post with one or two optional hashtags; a casual TikTok caption with three to five hashtags; and an SEO-minded YouTube description with tags in YouTube's tags field rather than the description. Style guidelines cover LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube. See AI content adaptation for the full feature.

Brand tone without the busywork. Captions draw on your Brand Identity: your brand name, industry, one default tone (Professional, Casual, Friendly, Authoritative, Playful, Inspirational or Educational), your values, your target audience and your key messaging. You fill this in once and every Enhance with AI request uses it. The brand voice feature page walks through the setup.

Standout features for caption writing.

  • Every network in one request. Four captions from one idea, rather than four prompts and four copy-pastes.
  • Every version stays editable. Each network gets its own tab. Edit any caption by hand and the others stay as they are.
  • Character limits tracked as you type. If a caption runs past a network's limit, the text turns red so you can tighten it before scheduling.
  • 24 content templates in 6 categories in the composer, for when you want a proven structure before the AI takes over. See content templates.
  • A four-week plan on demand. Generate content plan drafts a month of post ideas, so you are not starting every caption from a blank page.
  • From caption to calendar. The caption is scheduled from the same screen to a month, week or day content calendar, with the time zone set per post and unlimited posts on every plan.
  • Approvals for teams. On Freelancer and Agency, an Owner or Admin can approve captions or request changes before they publish. See approval workflow.
  • AI agents can write and schedule too. Postprism's MCP server, on every plan, lets assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT draft and schedule posts for you. See AI agents.

Best fit. Creators, small businesses, freelancers and agencies who post to three or more networks and want each caption to read as if it were written for that network, without writing six versions by hand. It is especially strong for anyone who wants the caption, the hashtags and the schedule handled in one place.

Pricing. Solo is $19 a month with 150 AI adaptations; Freelancer is $49 with 500; Agency is $99 with 2,000. Billed annually, the plans are $14, $36 and $75 a month. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and the free caption tools above cost nothing.

2. ChatGPT: best general writing assistant for brainstorming

What it is. OpenAI's general-purpose chat assistant. It will write a caption, ten captions, a caption in the style of a nature documentary or a caption in Spanish, depending on how you ask.

Standout features. Flexibility is the point. You can paste in a product page, a transcript or last month's best post and ask for captions based on it, then ask follow-up questions to refine the hook. Projects and custom instructions let you save context about your brand so you do not repeat it every time. It is also excellent for the thinking before the caption: angles, objections, questions your audience asks.

Limits. ChatGPT does not know your network's current rules unless you tell it, and it will cheerfully write 30 hashtags for Instagram if you ask for "hashtags". Every caption ends in copy and paste: there is no calendar and no publishing. Output quality depends heavily on your prompt. Our guide to AI prompts for social media has prompts that work.

Pricing. A free plan, with Plus at $20 a month in the US, as of October 2026. Higher tiers exist for heavy use; check OpenAI's pricing page for your region.

Who it is for. Anyone who wants an open-ended writing partner for ideas and drafts and is happy to move the final caption into a scheduler. If you would rather have the assistant schedule the post too, Postprism's MCP server lets ChatGPT and other assistants create posts in your calendar directly.

3. Buffer AI Assistant: best free AI inside a simple scheduler

What it is. Buffer is a long-standing, easy-to-learn scheduler. Its AI Assistant sits inside the composer and the Ideas space, and helps generate, rephrase, shorten or expand captions.

Standout features. Buffer's pricing page lists the AI Assistant on Free, Essentials and Team, with "unlimited credits" in the comparison table, checked October 2026. That makes it the most generous AI caption writer among the schedulers on this list. The composer lets you customise the caption per channel after the assistant writes it.

Limits. The assistant writes one caption at a time, so tailoring for each network is a manual step. The Free plan covers up to 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel, and paid plans are priced per channel, so costs rise as you add networks.

Pricing. Free for 3 channels; Essentials $5 per channel a month and Team $10 per channel, as of October 2026. Compare it with Postprism on our Buffer alternative page.

Who it is for. Individuals posting to two or three channels who want a free AI assistant in a tidy scheduler and do not mind writing each network's version themselves.

4. Later Caption Writer: best for Instagram-led brands

What it is. Later began as an Instagram planner and still feels most at home there. Its Caption Writer is described on the pricing page as using "AI technology to instantly generate on-brand captions for your Instagram posts".

Standout features. A visual grid planner, a link-in-bio page and the Caption Writer in the same place. Later's own guides on Instagram, including its hashtag guide, are some of the most current in the industry.

Limits. AI is metered by credit: one credit buys one caption or three ideas. Starter includes 5 credits a month, Growth 50 and Scale 100, and extra credits are not available on Starter ($3.75 for 100 more on Growth and Scale), checked October 2026. For a brand posting daily, Starter's 5 captions a month will not go far.

Pricing. Starter $18.75, Growth $37.50 and Scale $82.50 a month billed yearly, as of October 2026. See our Later alternative page for a side-by-side view.

Who it is for. Brands whose identity lives on Instagram, who plan their grid visually and want a caption suggestion alongside it.

5. Flick: best for Instagram creators who live in hashtags

What it is. A social media tool built around Instagram growth, with an AI Social Media Assistant, a hashtag research engine and scheduling for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.

Standout features. Flick's AI page describes captions "tuned to each platform", which you can make more formal, more casual, shorter or longer, plus a Brand Hub that holds your products, voice, key dates, content pillars, audience and business information. Its hashtag tools suggest tags based on your caption and include a hashtag search engine.

Limits. Network coverage is narrower than a general scheduler. The Solo plan includes 30 scheduled posts per social profile and 4 profiles, per the pricing page, checked October 2026. With Instagram's five-tag cap, a hashtag-heavy workflow matters less than it did.

Pricing. Solo £11, Pro £24 and Agency £55 a month billed yearly, with a 7-day free trial, as of October 2026.

Who it is for. Instagram-first creators and small brands who want caption help and hashtag research in the same tool.

Write every network's caption in one click

Postprism's Enhance with AI turns one idea into a caption for LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube, in your brand's tone, ready to schedule.

6. Jasper: best for marketing teams with brand guidelines

What it is. An AI writing platform for marketing teams, with templates, chat, and controls that keep many writers on one brand voice.

Standout features. Brand Voices: the pricing page says Jasper can "analyze your content's tone of voice", and lets you set tone and formatting rules. Pro includes 2 Brand Voices; Business includes unlimited. Jasper is strong for campaigns where the caption is one of many assets (blog, email, ad copy) that need to sound alike.

Limits. Jasper writes; it does not schedule or publish to social networks. At $69 per seat a month, it is a significant cost if captions are your main use. The pricing page is inconsistent about how many users Pro includes, so confirm seats before buying.

Pricing. Pro $69 per seat a month or $59 billed yearly, with a 7-day free trial; Business is custom, as of October 2026.

Who it is for. In-house marketing teams that write across many channels and need brand governance, and who already have a scheduler for publishing.

7. Copy.ai: best for teams who want a shared AI chat workspace

What it is. An AI platform that has moved from short-form copy templates toward chat and go-to-market workflows for sales and marketing teams.

Standout features. The Chat plan includes 5 seats and unlimited chat words, per the pricing page checked October 2026, which makes it a reasonable shared writing space for a small team. Higher plans add workflow credits for automating repeated content tasks at scale.

Limits. Social captions are one use among many, and there is no publishing. The jump from Chat ($29 a month) to Growth ($1,000 a month) is steep, so most social teams will stay on Chat. The pricing page does not describe a free plan in detail.

Pricing. Chat $29 a month, or $24 billed yearly; Growth from $1,000 a month, as of October 2026.

Who it is for. Small marketing and sales teams that want a shared AI writing assistant for many kinds of copy, captions included.

8. Canva Magic Write: best for writing the caption while you design

What it is. Canva's built-in AI writing assistant, part of its Magic Studio. It writes text inside a design or a document, including captions.

Standout features. If the visual is the post, writing the caption next to it saves a context switch. Magic Write can draft, rewrite and shorten text, and Canva's scheduler can post designs to several networks.

Limits. Magic Write is metered. Canva's own pages describe a monthly allowance on free accounts and a higher per-user allowance on Pro and Teams; check Canva's pricing page for current numbers, which have changed several times. Captions are written one at a time and are not shaped for each network automatically.

Pricing. Included in Canva Free and paid plans, with caps, as of October 2026. If you design in Canva but schedule elsewhere, Postprism imports Canva designs straight into the composer. Our Canva vs AI tools comparison explains when each makes sense.

Who it is for. Designers and small businesses who build every post in Canva and want a quick caption draft without leaving the design.

9. Predis.ai: best for captions bundled with generated creatives

What it is. An AI content generator that produces the whole post: image or video creative, caption and hashtags from a short prompt, with scheduling on higher plans.

Standout features. The pricing page lists an AI Captions Generator, an AI Hashtags Generator, carousels, video makers and e-commerce product posts. It suits teams that want a finished post, not just text.

Limits. Everything runs on credits, and the cost per generation varies by content type. Auto posting is not included on Core. The trial is 3 days.

Pricing. Core $24 a month (1,300 credits, 1 brand), Rise $55 (3,200 credits, auto posting) and Enterprise+ $212, as of October 2026.

Who it is for. Small e-commerce brands and solo marketers who want an AI to produce the creative and the caption together, and who are comfortable reviewing generated visuals before they go out.

10. Hootsuite OwlyWriter AI: best for enterprise teams already on Hootsuite

What it is. Hootsuite's AI writing tool, launched in 2023 and now built into the Composer. Hootsuite's plans page lists "Generate posts and images with AI" on Standard, alongside its AI teammate, Wisdom, on every plan.

Standout features. In Composer, OwlyWriter AI acts as a caption editor: Hootsuite's own update note says it can check spelling and grammar, adjust tone of voice or call to action, and recommend how to optimise caption length. It also generates ideas and posts from a prompt or a link.

Limits. Hootsuite is priced per user, and the AI is a small part of a large suite. For caption writing alone, it is the most expensive option here.

Pricing. From $99 per user a month for Standard, $199 for Professional and up to $399 for Advanced, billed annually, as of October 2026. See our Hootsuite alternative page.

Who it is for. Larger teams that already use Hootsuite for inbox, listening and reporting and want AI captioning without adding another tool.

Also worth a look: Ocoya

Ocoya combines AI writing, a design studio and scheduling. Its pricing page lists Starter at $29 a month with 300 AI credits and 5 social profiles, Team at $79 with 1,500 credits and Agency at $199 with 5,000 credits, all with a 7-day trial, checked October 2026. It does not say what a credit buys, so test how many captions you get before committing. Best for small teams that want writing, design and scheduling in one subscription.

The caption rules every generator should respect

Whichever tool you use, a caption has to fit the network it lands on. These are the limits and norms worth checking before you publish. Count any caption with our free social media character counter, and see our glossary entry on character limits for the short version.

NetworkCaption limitWhat a good AI caption does there
Instagram2,200 characters; up to 5 hashtags since December 2025A hook in the first line, value in the middle, a prompt to save or share at the end, and a few precise hashtags
TikTok2,200 characters through the Content Posting APIShort, searchable context for the video, with three to five relevant hashtags
LinkedIn3,000 characters; roughly the first 210 show before "see more"A specific opening situation, short paragraphs, a question at the end, two to five hashtags

A generator that writes one caption for every network will hit the shortest limit first. That is the practical case for a tool that writes per network.

How to choose an AI caption generator

By how many networks you post to

One network. A free template tool or a single-network specialist is enough. For Instagram, our free Instagram caption generator or Later's Caption Writer; for TikTok, our free TikTok caption generator.

Two or three networks. Buffer's free AI Assistant works if you are willing to tailor each version yourself. Postprism saves the tailoring step by writing every version in one request.

Four or more. Writing per network becomes the job. Postprism writes a caption for each of LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube at once, and publishes to 6 networks with unlimited posts.

By who you are

  • Creators. Captions for video across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, written fast. Postprism writes the TikTok and YouTube captions from one idea and schedules the video to each. Postprism's content creators page covers the creator setup.
  • Small businesses. Limited time, a few core networks, and a need to sound consistent. Postprism Solo at $19 a month covers all 6 networks; see Postprism for small businesses.
  • Freelancers. Several clients, each with a different tone. Postprism Freelancer gives each client a workspace (3 on Freelancer, 10 on Agency) and an approval step before captions publish; see Postprism for freelancers.
  • Agencies. Many clients, many writers, approvals. Postprism Agency, or Jasper alongside an agency scheduler if you need brand governance across non-social copy too. See Postprism for agencies.
  • Enterprise teams. Hootsuite, if you already run the suite.

By where the caption starts

From an idea. Postprism or ChatGPT. From a design. Canva Magic Write, then schedule the design in Postprism or Canva. From nothing at all. Predis.ai generates the visual and caption together. From a long piece of content. Turn a blog post or transcript into captions with ChatGPT or Postprism, then follow our guide to repurposing content across platforms.

Worked example: one idea, four captions

Hearth & Grain is a small bakery launching a sourdough subscription. The owner types one line into Postprism: "Our new weekly sourdough subscription starts Monday. Fresh loaf every Friday, pick up or delivery within 5 miles, cancel anytime." With Brand Identity set to a Friendly tone and an audience of local families, Enhance with AI returns four captions in one request. Here is what each looks like after a light edit.

NetworkCaptionHashtags
LinkedIn"Three years ago we baked 40 loaves a week. Our regulars kept asking for a way to never miss a Friday bake, so we built one. Starting Monday, our sourdough subscription delivers a fresh loaf weekly. Small businesses: what's one thing your customers asked for that you finally said yes to?"#smallbusiness #localfood
X"Weekly sourdough subscription starts Monday. Fresh loaf every Friday, pick up or local delivery, cancel anytime."None
TikTok"POV: it's Friday and your sourdough is already waiting. Weekly subscription starts Monday, local delivery within 5 miles."#sourdough #bakery #breadtok
YouTubeA short description for a 40-second Short of the morning bake: what the subscription is, how pickup and delivery work, and a link to sign upTags in the tags field

The owner schedules all four for Monday morning in one step. Total time: about 15 minutes including edits. Writing four captions from scratch, then posting each by hand, typically takes well over an hour.

How to get better captions from any AI generator

  1. Give it the facts, not the vibe. "Fresh loaf every Friday, delivery within 5 miles" produces a better caption than "write something fun about bread". Specific details are what make captions believable.
  2. Tell it who is reading. An audience ("local families", "B2B founders", "beginner runners") changes vocabulary more than any tone setting. In Postprism, the target audience in Brand Identity does this automatically.
  3. Ask for the first line separately. The first line decides whether anyone reads the rest. Generate three or four hooks and pick the strongest. Our free caption generator is useful for exactly this.
  4. Put the keyword in plain words. Name the product, place or topic in the first two lines so search on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube understands the post.
  5. Trim the hashtags. Five on Instagram is the hard cap; two to five on LinkedIn and one or two on X are the norm. Fewer, more specific tags beat broad ones. Our guide on how to use AI for social media covers the editing pass in more depth.
  6. Edit the call to action per network. "Link in bio" belongs on Instagram, not Facebook or LinkedIn, where the link can sit in the post.
  7. Read it out loud. If it sounds like a press release, cut the adjectives. AI drafts tend to over-explain.
  8. Check the length. Run it through a character counter, or watch for red text in Postprism's composer.
  9. Review before it publishes. On a team, route captions through an approval step so a second person reads every one.
  10. Measure the caption, not just the post. Compare engagement rate and saves between caption styles over a few weeks. Postprism's analytics show impressions, reach, clicks, engagement rate and top posts across X, YouTube, LinkedIn Pages and TikTok.

Common mistakes with AI captions

  • Publishing the first draft. AI captions are a starting point. A minute of editing removes the generic phrases that make readers scroll past. Our analysis of whether AI content performs on social media covers why.
  • One caption, every network. The X version and the LinkedIn version should not be the same text. Write per network, or use a tool that does.
  • Old hashtag habits. A 30-tag block will not post on Instagram any more. Keep to five.
  • No brand context. Without a tone and an audience, every tool writes in the same upbeat default voice. Set your brand details once.
  • Paying per seat for a caption tool. If captions are the main job, a scheduler with AI included usually costs less than a writing platform priced per seat.
  • Running out of credits mid-month. Check how many captions a credit buys before choosing a plan. Five a month is not enough for a brand that posts daily.
  • Losing the caption between tools. Copying from a chat window into a scheduler is where typos, broken line breaks and wrong versions creep in. Writing and scheduling in one place avoids it.

The verdict

Postprism is the best AI caption generator in 2026 because it solves the real caption problem, which is not writing one caption but writing the right caption for every network you post to. One Enhance with AI request returns a caption for each selected network, in your brand's tone, with hashtags sized to each network, and the calendar publishes them, from $19 a month. Start with the free Instagram caption generator or TikTok caption generator if you just need a line today. ChatGPT is the most flexible writing partner for brainstorming, Buffer has the most generous free AI inside a scheduler, Later suits Instagram-led brands, and Jasper fits marketing teams that need brand governance across many channels. Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best AI caption generator?

Postprism, for anyone posting to more than one network. Enhance with AI writes a caption for each selected network (LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube) in one request, using your brand's tone, and the captions are scheduled from the same calendar. Plans start at $19 a month with a 7-day free trial.

Is there a free AI caption generator?

Postprism's free Instagram caption generator and TikTok caption generator need no signup and run in your browser; they use proven caption templates rather than AI. For free AI captions, Buffer lists its AI Assistant on the Free plan, and ChatGPT has a free plan.

Can AI write captions for every social network at once?

Yes. In Postprism, one Enhance with AI request returns a separate caption for every network you selected, each following that network's length, tone and hashtag norms. You can edit any version before it is scheduled, and the others stay unchanged.

How many hashtags should an AI caption include?

Instagram allows up to five hashtags per post since December 2025. Two to five professional hashtags suit LinkedIn, one or two (or none) suit X, three to five suit TikTok, and Facebook needs few or none. YouTube uses its own tags field.

Does Buffer have an AI caption generator?

Yes. Buffer's AI Assistant helps write and rephrase captions in the composer and is listed on the Free, Essentials and Team plans with unlimited credits, as of October 2026. It writes one caption at a time; tailoring each channel's version is manual.

Is ChatGPT good for writing social media captions?

ChatGPT is a strong brainstorming partner and writes good drafts when you give it facts, an audience and the target network. It does not know current platform rules unless you tell it, and it does not publish, so captions end in copy and paste. Postprism's MCP server lets assistants like ChatGPT create posts in your calendar directly.

Will AI captions hurt my engagement?

Unedited, generic captions tend to underperform because they sound like everyone else. Edited AI captions that include specific details, a clear hook and the right length for the network perform like any well-written caption. Give the tool your brand details and edit before publishing.

How much does an AI caption generator cost?

From free to several hundred dollars a month. As of October 2026: Postprism $19 to $99 a month with AI included, Later from $18.75 a month billed yearly with 5 AI credits, ChatGPT Plus $20 a month, Copy.ai Chat $29 a month, Jasper Pro $69 per seat and Hootsuite from $99 per user.
