Connect your first social platform

Postprism supports eight social platforms: LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Bluesky, and Pinterest. Each platform uses OAuth, so you never share your password with Postprism directly.

1. Go to your Dashboard and open Settings → Connected Platforms.

2. Click "Connect" next to the platform you want to add.

3. You will be redirected to that platform's login page. Sign in with the account you want to publish from.

4. Approve the requested permissions. Postprism only requests the minimum permissions needed to publish on your behalf.

5. You will be redirected back to Postprism. The platform will now appear as "Connected" with a green indicator.

Platform access tokens expire over time — typically every 60–90 days depending on the platform. When a token expires, the platform will show a yellow "Reconnect" indicator in Settings. Click it and repeat the OAuth flow to restore publishing access.

Postprism will also notify you by email before a token expires so you can reconnect proactively.

Instagram: You must connect a Professional (Creator or Business) account. Personal Instagram accounts cannot be connected via the API.

LinkedIn: Posts published via API appear as regular user posts. Company page posting requires additional permissions during the OAuth flow.

Twitter/X: Basic API tier supports posting only. Elevated access is required for analytics and media-rich posts.
